The profiled frame member or rung comprises several U- or double T-shaped components to form a rib with two shanks. The latter form with the rib a groove to take an edge strip of a filler plate. One shank permanently secured to the rib has two chambers extending for the full length opposite the strip, one with a long slot in which the foot of the elastic sealing strip is inserted. The strip presses against the groove above the edge strip. The other chamber (16) accommodates connecting components. The latter is of polygonal cross-section, to accommodate bolt connectors. It is enclosed by two opposite rectangular portions (19) to take rectangular connectors (20) instead of the bolts. The width of these portions is greater than that for the bolt connectors. ADVANTAGE - No need for modification for different types of connectors.
