The intake has a supercharger to compress the fluid supplied to the engine in a main flow channel. This contains a throttle flap, coupled to a regulator for the flow in a by-pass of the supercharger. The throttle flap (7) has a carrier (26), to hold the regulator. The carrier consists of a thin-walled flat plate, located at right angles to the pivot axis of the throttle flap. The regulator consists of a disc-shaped flat flap (28).
