<p>PURPOSE:To generate a precharge signal automatically by providing a difference between a rising time and a falling time of a signal so as to detect a potential change in a word line. CONSTITUTION:A difference is provided between a period of a word line 2 from H to L and a period of a word line 3 from L to H. When the line 3 is going to reach H at a time t12, since the line 2 reaches L faster, pulse generating transistors (TRs) T15 - T17 are all interrupted for a period between t12 and t14. Thus, a capacitor C8 is charged by a resistor R and a read line 10 reaches an H level. Since the line 3 reaches a logic threshold voltage VL or over depending on the resistor R and the pulse generating TR T16, the line 10 reaches an L level. Thus, a pulse is generated for a period between t13 and t14. This pulse is buffered by a buffer T21 to drive precharge TRs T1 - T4.</p> |
