Device for heating continuously extruded profiles consists of a housing divided into one or more successive zones linked together. Each zone has at least one inlet for the controlled inflow of warm air and at the end of the housing is a common outlet for extracting used air. Air extraction produces increasing air flow towards the outlet and increases the molecular lateral movement of air around the extrudate. The temp. diff. between air and extrudate is reduced during transversal of the working channel. Heat transfer is therefore constant or better. USE/ADVANTAGE - Uniform and rapid heating of extruded profiles during vulcanisation.
