<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color solid-state image with high perpendicular resolution by comprising the color filer of each picture element of the laminate body of a first color filter which covers the whole of the light receiving plane of the picture element and a second color filter which covers the half area of the light receiving plane, and obtaining the chrominance signal of red or blue from a single pixel string in line sequence. CONSTITUTION:The color filter corresponding to the picture element having first spectral characteristic is the filter in which a yellow color is laminated on the half area of the light receiving area of the picture element on a transparent color filter, and the color filter corresponding to the picture element having second spectral characteristic is the one in which the yellow color is laminated on the half area of the light receiving area of the picture element on a cyan color filter. Also, the color filter having third spectral characteristic is the one in which a cyan color is laminated on the half area of the light receiving area of the picture element on a yellow color filter, and also, the color filter having fourth spectral characteristic is the one in which the cyan color is laminated on the half area of the light receiving area of the picture element on the transparent color filter. In such a manner, the color solid- state image pickup element with high resolution can be obtained.</p> |
