Flat aligned component-joining system - has undercut grooves in strips for heads of rotary locking member

The system joins flat aligned components, particularly filler-pieces or panes of glass, together using opposite profiled strips of identical shape on the inside. These are joined by a distance-piece with a rotary locking member at each side. At the inside of each strip (1) is an undercut groove (2) accommodating and securing the head m(5) of the locking member (4), while adjacent to the head the member is shaped to take a spanner or other turning tool. The distance-piece (3) accommodating the member is plate-shaped, with a recess in each side to allow insertion of the spanner, while its lengthwise edges are inserted in the undercut grooves. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and rapid installation and detachment without damage to strips. The system is used in mfr of doors and windows.
