<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the original plate which is excellent in edge cutting of an original and light shielding property with simple constitution by applying lacquer on a transparent film of a base, bringing the characters and graphics described on paper into opposite and tight contact therewith and exposing the same with irradiation, then removing the unexposed parts with a solvent. CONSTITUTION:Rolled paper is placed on a rubber mat and a base 1 is placed thereon and is fixed by a cellophane tape. A small amt. of powder is applied on sponge and is rubbed onto the base 1 until the applied powder becomes transparent to smooth the surface of the base 1. The acrylic lacquer or gravure ink of mixed light shielding colors is applied on the base and is fixed to form A of the layer 2 while a stainless steel round bar is moved. B of the layer 2 is then formed. After the surface is smoothed again, a diazo photosensitive liquid 3 is applied thereon by a stainless steel round bar and is dried. The ray transmittable material 4, such as paper, which is described with the characters and graphics is brought into opposite and tight contact with the base and is exposed by the irradiation. The unexposed parts are removed by the solvent.</p> |
