PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition having improved absorption through a mucomembranous tissue, giving a sufficient hypolevel and useful for oral and intestinum rectum administration by containing an antibacterial compound and 2- or 3-components-based absorbefacient system. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition is composed of (A) an antibacterial compound, especially β-lactam antibiotics (e.g. ceftriaxone), (B) an absorbefacient system composed of B1 : an ester of polyoxyethylene (PEG) with a 6-16C glyceride, e.g. PEG-8 caprylate/caprylate glyceride ester and B2 : an 8-18C carboxylic acid voluntarily containing its salt, e.g. caprylic acid, and voluntarily (C) a pharmaceutical composition having a pharmaceutically inert liquid. A containing amount of each component is suitably A=50-250ng and B=100-500mg in a case of oral administration and A=100-1,500mg and B=100-500mg in a case of intestinum rectum administration, about respective dose unit. |
