PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a stepping motor and to save the power of the motor by effectively collecting an intermittently stepping-out phenomenon only when an instantaneous load is applied to the motor. CONSTITUTION:A pulse controller 12 applies a control pulse of normal or reverse rotation to a stepping motor 7a through a motor driving circuit 11. The rotating speed of the motor 7a is detected by a speed/voltage converter 13, and is inputted to a charging and discharging circuit 14. The output of the circuit 14 is compared by a level detector 15 with a reference voltage, and the output is inputted to a differentiating circuit 16 and an inverter 17. The output of the inverter 17 is inputted to a step-out detector 19, and a sampling pulse from the controller 12 is delayed by a delay circuit 18 and is inputted to the detector 19. The detector 19 produces as a step-out detection signal the logic product of both inputs. |
