PURPOSE:To control exposure stroke momentum through combination of simple switches by providing plural pieces of switches detecting exposure stroke movement on the moving route for a reciprocating member of an original scanning system, and connecting these to a momentum control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Cams 41SB, 41SA are provided to a drum which makes the reciprocating motion equivalent to that of a reciprocating original plate 1, and are corresponded to the switches MSSB, MSSA fixed to the machine side. A lever 26 and a switch MSSS for detecting sizes of copying materials are provided to a paper feed plate 22. Exposure stroke movement detecting switching switches MSSS, MSSA are connected in series to the movement control circuit r/B of the member 1. If the MSSA and MSSB are normally closed contacts, they are conneced in parallel. Now, in the case of small sized paper, the switch MSSS is held open and therefore when the MSSA opens upon moving of the member 1 to a small extent, the circuit r/B responds to this immediately. In the case of large sized paper, the r/B does not respond to the movement until the MSSB opens. In this way, the momentum is controlled by the combination of the simple switches. |
