The present invention relates to a safety lock. This lock, of the type including a cylinder (36) housed in a cover (38) passing through its support (8) to allow actuation from the outside (34) of a room to be protected, in which the lock is situated, is fitted on the inside with at least one finger (66,115) establishing between the bolt (20) and the groove (53) a linkage by cooperation of shapes, opposing passage of the groove (53) to a position of release of the bolt, in the event of attempted break-in by tilting the cover (38). Thus, even if the latter is successfully torn off to introduce tools into the casing (1) of the lock, it becomes impossible to release the bolt (20) quickly in order to bring it into a position of opening the lock. <IMAGE>
