The invention relates to a construction block. The block of artificial stone comprises, on its outer face for longitudinal alignment, an oblique parallelepiped (4) offset downwards and offset laterally, and at the level of the ends of the said oblique parallelepiped there is a half-hole for decompression (9A, 9B) which, at the lap joint of the blocks, ensures the removal of water and dust on the heel (5).
