<p>Since a conventional LCD display device includes an LCD controller comprising an LSI, a ROM and a RAM for exclusive use for the LCD controller are necessary. Therefore, the cost of the LCD display device is high and a time spent for process the display data is longer due to the addition of the LCD controller. According to the present invention, all the display data can be stored in a ROM and a RAM for exclusive use for a CPU, and a timing circuit and a latch circuit in place of an LCD controller are provided. Accordingly, no LCD controller is necessary, and the processing time of the display data can be reduced. The LCD display device of this invention can be used for a display of a word processor, or the like.</p> |
