The invention relates to a driver circuit for a D.C. motor without a commutator, especially to drive a ventilator. Within each commutation phase, which is determined by a rotor position sensor circuit (2), a control pulse is supplied whose duration and/or amplitude is varied to control the power supplied to the motor. Provided in order to generate the control pulses is a triangular wave form generator (21) whose period duration corresponds approximately to one commutation phase.
