Washing appts. for infected wound - consists of cap fitted with nozzle for spraying cleansing solution

The appts. is used for washing an infected wound which is difficult to heal. It may be used for washing ulcers on a patient's leg. The appts. consists of a hemispherical cap (1) which is placed over the wound or ulcer. A cleansing solution is supplied by a pump to a spray nozzle (2) fitted in the dome of the cap. The used solution is removed by a second pump which is connected to an outlet (3) near the base of the cap. In the case where the wound or ulcer is on an extremity such as a finger or toe, the cap is shaped to fit over the finger or toe. USE - washing.of infected wounds and ulcers.
