Cores for extruding bricks with through holes - are mounted on ends of steel bars enclosed in wear resistant tubes

Bricks with through holes are formed in an extrusion press which is equipped with cores (20) to form the holes. The cores (20) are mounted flush with each other on core holders (23a,23b) whcih are mounted on brackets (13) which are supported on a frame (2). Each core holder (23a,23b) is formed from a bar (18) made of high tensile steel, which is enclosed in a protective tube (22) which is made from a wear resistant material. The bar (18) has a screw thread by which it is attached to the bracket (13). USE - Cores for extruding bricks.
