PURPOSE:To absorb the resonance energy of a supporting body drum during the traveling of an electrophotographic recorder and to decrease noises by packing an viscoelastic material into the inside of a conductive supporting body drum or adhering the material to the inside of the drum in a prescribed thickness. CONSTITUTION:A drum-shaped electrophotographic sensitive body 1 is constituted by providing a photosensitive layer 3 on the outside of the conductive base drum 2 consisting of an aluminum pipe and packing the material 4 having viscoelasticity, such as synthetic rubber and natural rubber or the material formed by adding a packing material thereto and clay or by allowing this material to be adhered therewith at the thickness satisfying equation d >= t/2 (where t: the wall thickness of the drum 2, d: the thickness of the viscoelastic material layer). Thus, the noises generated when the oscillation by the friction of a cleaning blade and the surface of the photosensitive body generates the resonance with the drum 2 are decreased by absorbing the energy thereof. |
