<p>The device comprises an adaptable horizontal supply casing (9), a likewise adaptable carrier structure (10) and a multiplicity of removable functional modules (11) enclosing the electrical equipment. The supply casing (9), fixed to the carrier structure (10), includes horizontal electrical conductors (12) which are made accessible from the front by means of openings (18) made in accordance with a specified basic pitch (P).
