A clamping device in a tool assembly with a mating pin and location bore is described, consisting of a clamping piece which is located in the mating pin (1a, 1b) and is clamped by two retaining screws (4, 5) in the location bore. The clamping piece (3) is movable to a limited extent in a direction at right angles to the axis of the pin and has two tapered location bores diametrically opposite in the direction of movement. At least one of these bores is partly overhung in a cone shape, and in fact in the opposite direction to the pin end. The retaining screws (4, 5), which are located at the level of the location bores, have double-conical heads matching these location bores. ……
