PURPOSE:To learn the actual stock quantity of commodities without a manual intervention and without delay by calculating the number of the commodities based on the weight of a commodity shelf. CONSTITUTION:A weight detection device 140 always measures the whole weight of the commodity shelf 12 on which the commodities 10 are loaded and transmits data to a data processor 180 through an I/O device 142. Weight per commodity 10 is stored in the controller 180. The device 140 divides a value obtained by subtracting the weight of the commodity shelf from measurement data of total weight by weight per commodity calculates the number of the commodities and displays the result in a display unit. These data are transmitted to a POS system through an antenna 181 or a transmission line and in simultaneously transmitted to a ration terminal for clerk 184 through the antenna 181. The terminal 184 displays the remaining number of respective commodities in a display 186 by a command from a keyboard 188 and gives information on the lack of the number of stock commodities by a speaker 189. |
