PURPOSE:To conserve the cost required in cooling to a large extent, by cooling a condenser for refluxing carbon monoxide by a compression type first heat pump using nitrogen as cooling medium and a second heat pump using methane as a cooling medium. CONSTITUTION:A supply passage 2 for carbon monoxide as a stock material is connected to a distillation tower 1 and a condenser 3 cooling carbon monoxide to reflux the same to the distillation tower 1 is connected to the upper part of the distillation tower 1 and a recovery tower 4 for gas low in the content of carbon monoxide comprising heavy carbon is connected to the condenser 3. A compression type first heat pump A recirculating nitrogen as a cooling medium in the order of a compressor 5, a heat dissipator 6, a pressure reducing value 7 and an evaporator 8 is provided and the evaporator 8 is integrally molded along with the condenser 3. A compression type second heat pump B recirculating methane as a cooling medium in the order of compressor 11, a heat dissipator 12, a pressure reducing valve 13 and an evaporator 14, and the evaporator 14 and the heat dissipator 6 are formed so as to be together used in the cooling and condensation of cooling medium nitrogen by the evaporation of cooling medium methane under heating. |
