PURPOSE:To attain effective and safe deodorization for an uncomfortable smell of food martial, bad smell in a general home, offensive smell generated in an industrial field and the other smell by performing vacuum distillation of rutin by means of a solvent with the boiling point not less than 100 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:Rutin (quercetin-3-ruitinosid), contained in bud of a certain tree, is taken out, and a solvent of at least one kind of more of glyceline, propylene glycol, etc., with the boiling point not less than 100 deg.C is added to and mixed in 1 part rutin by its proportion of 1 part or more with an effective component of fine odor light yellow color, having a 170 to 200 deg.C boiling point range at a vacuum degree of 20mmHg, obtained by vacuum distillation. A deodorizing component thus obtained may be used as it is in compliance with a deodorizing object and as the formulation in arbitrary shape. In this way, even for use in a wide range of foods, general home, industries and others, deodorization of high safety can be attained. |
