PURPOSE:To eliminate an initial error and to prevent the liquid in a barrel from entering an air pipe by extending both ends of the air pipe into both barrels through their lids. CONSTITUTION:A barrel 1 is formed longitudinally long and the air pipe 5 is projected into the barrel 1 by piercing the lid 6. The amount of liquid 7 in use is so selected that the liquid level in the barrel 1 is as shown by 12 in the normal use of a gyrocompass whereas the opening end 5' of the pipe 5 in the barrel 1 is sufficiently above the liquid level 12. Consequently, even when the opposite barrel 1' is emptied while a liquid stabilizer falls sideways to touch a stopper after the gyrocompass is stopped, the liquid level 12 is as shown by 13 and the opening end 5' never touches the liquid level. Further, even if the liquid stabilizer falls sideways during the transportation of the gyrocompass, the opening end 5' does not contact the liquid level. |
