Hawser is constructed from steel wire with separators, firstly laid in segments and then built up into a complete circle. The steel wire (2) is made into a central core (3) or tube (3'). Each segment (5) is filled with more wire (2) into the sections (6) or (6'). The segment is larger than the 60 degree angle, so that the sides (7) will engage into the adjacent segments, which are made of plastics. A double gap (14) is left at the circumference. The inner part (9) matches the tube (3') or the built up core. The gaps in the wires will finally be set in cement and form an outer corrosion proofing (13). USE - The steel cable may be up to 25 metres long, as required for bridge building, or anchorage in construction work. The process can be carried out single handled.
