PURPOSE:To improve the fixation of ink by forming an ink receiving layer composed of the mixed material of polyester and polyamide onto a transparent base material. CONSTITUTION:A transparent film 1 is manufactured by forming an ink receiving layer 3 consisting of the mixed material of polyester and polyamide onto a transparent base material 2. 1-20mum are proper as the thickness of the ink receiving layer 3, the effect of improvement in ink acceptability is not displayed on 1mum or less, and the adhesive strength of the ink receiving layer is lowered and a surface is cracked easily on 20mum or more. The upper section of the transparent base material 2 is coated with the mixed resin of polyester and polyamide having high ink acceptability as the ink receiving layer 3, thus enhancing the adhesive properties of ink, then also improving the acceptability of ink. When an ink sheet 10 is superposed on the transparent film immediately after the ink receiving layer is applied and ink is thermally transferred to the transparent film, the manufacture of the transparent film and thermal transfer recording can be conducted in one thermal transfer recording device. |
