SHEET-LIKE KBR BODY COATED WITH FLUORINE-CONTAINING RESIN AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To keep infrared-ray transmissivity constant over a long period by coating a sheet-like body of KBr with fluorine-containing resin of specific average molecular weight to a specific thickness. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like body of KBr is coated with fluorine-containing resin of 600-10000 average molecular weight to 10-300nm thickness, by which a sheet-like KBr body coated with fluorine-containing resin is formed. The sheet-like KBr body is coated with fluororesin by using fluorine-containing resin of 600-10000 average molecular weight as target material by a vacuum plating method. By this method, the sheet-like KBr body can be coated with sufficiently thin fluorine-containing resin having uniform film thickness and excellent in water repellency.
