Process for agglomerating powder

A process for agglomerating a polymer powder comprises mixing a polymer powder with an oxyalkylene group- containing polyvinyl alcohol resin in the presence of water and drying the resulting mixture. According to the process of the present invention, it is possible to prepare the polymer granules having little fine powder, a narrow particle size distribution and a large average particle size. The process is particularly applicable to acrylic high water-absorbent resin powders.
