PRODUCTION OF NAPPED CLOTH

PURPOSE:To obtain napped yarn having napped face, china-painting face and excellent handle by laminating cloth consisting essentially of polyester-based fiber to heat-resistant cloth to be napped in an integrated way, making china- painting by sublimation transfer method and napping the other heat-resistant side. CONSTITUTION:Cloth consisting essentially of polyester-based fiber is laminated to heat-resistant cloth (e.g. synthetic fiber or cotton) to be napped in an integrated way to give ground fabric (preferably made by weaving in terms of handle). China-painting is formed on the polyester side of the ground fabric by sublimation transfer method and the other heat-resistant cloth face is napped to give napped cloth having excellent handle on both the napped face and the china- painting face free from weakness in shape retention.
