<p>PURPOSE: To reduce emission of pollutants by introducing a reducing agent as an aqueous solution of urea precursor which can contain alkanols, alkanecarboxylic acids, alkanals or alkanones, into a fire box via a boiler metering system with the use of a carrier flow. CONSTITUTION: A reducing agent is introduced as an aqueous solution of urea precursor, e.g. urea, ammonia or ammonia carbonate, which can contain alkanols, alkanecarboxylic acids, alkanals or alkanones, into a fire box via a boiler metering system with the use of a liquid or gaseous carrier flow. In relation to the lambdaground of combustion waste gas, a more advantageous range is provided for formation of NOx and the NOx value in the waste gas can be minimized with economical consumption of chemicals. Compounds having effect on the combustion process are fed as a solution mixible with a liquid fuel with no loss through a burner metering system for controlling the load or emission.</p> |
