<p>In a device for providing a beam of laser radiation having a homogeneous energy distribution, a light-mixing pipe is used. An axicon lens is provided in the ray path in front of the light-mixing pipe. Using such a lens prevents radiation leaving the light-mixing pipe without any reflection or with a too small number of reflections and giving rise to an inhomogeneous energy distribution.</p> |
