PURPOSE:To improve capacity of radiation, achieving low cost and miniaturization of an apparatus, by a method wherein a sectional form of a heat input of a heat pipe is made depressed and the sectional form of a radiation part is made round. CONSTITUTION:For a first heat exchange part 2A of a heat pipe 2, a cylindrical heat pipe is made depressed by press working and for a second heat exchange part 2B, the cylindrical heat pipe is used as it is. The depressed form herein means that at least one plane part 2a is provided and values of a minor axis d1 and a major axis d2 have a relation of d2>R>d1 to a diameter R of an original pipe. Further, there is a relation of d1<d. Therefore, a distance (d) between recording heads can be shortened, and making low cost of and miniaturization of an apparatus can be achieved. Further, fitting of the heat pipe to the recording head becomes easy. Furthermore, working liquid vapor in the heat pipe generated with the first heat exchange part can be effectively transmitted to whole a radiation part, and all the recording heads become capable of being easily regulated at almost uniform temperature. |
