In a high voltage circuit interrupter switch or recloser (30) a single multi-function control actuator (126) is connected to a trip bar (100) for tripping a contact operating linkage to effect opening of one or more movable contacts (33). The control actuator (126) includes a spring biased crank member (134) and a toggle linkage (148,150) operably associated to permit resetting of the control actuator (126) to its initial position upon effecting movement of the contact operating linkage. The recloser has a switch (80) for energizing a closing solenoid (78) to reclose the interrupter contact. A movable catch (158) is associated with a switch operating linkage (94)and is operably connected to the control actuator (126) whereby the control actuator (126) may effect energization of the solenoid (78) to close the interrupter contacts (33). The control actuator (126) is also connected to a lockout linkage (120, 121, 124, 125, 128) for effecting lockout of the contact operating linkage upon receipt of a control signal when a predetermined number of circuit interruptions have been performed in a predetermined time period. |
