ADVENTITIOUS BUD FORMATION OF PLANT OF GENUS ROSE

摘要

PURPOSE:To efficiently regenerate and multiply plant of the genus Rose by subjecting lateral bud or terminal bud of plant of the genus Rose to subculture in a cytokinin-containing medium and forming adventitious bud from the prepared petiole part and leaf part. CONSTITUTION:Lateral bud or terminal bud of plant of the genus Rose is culture in a medium containing 0.1-30.0mg/l cytokinin to give a plant having lateral bud or terminal bud. Then the lateral bud or terminal bud is repeatedly subjected to the above-mentioned operation once or more times (hereinafter subculture) and in the final subculture during the subculture, the petiole part and leaf part of the plant prepared by 4-8 weeks culture process are cultured in a medium containing 3.0-30.0mg/l cytokinin and adventitious bud is formed to make adventitious bud of plant of the genus Rose.
