PURPOSE:To prevent overcurrent without lowering the torque by dividing each excitation time of phase windings into two or more, widening overdrive signals upon rise of driving currents, and narrowing said signals after the rise. CONSTITUTION:The output (a) of a pulse generator 1 is entered to an overdrive generation circuit (OVDV) 2' and a distribution circuit 3. The distribution circuit 3 switches over and transmits signals (c)-(f), energizes transistors(Trs) 4a-4b in a specific sequence, and passes currents through coils 5a-5d. The OVDV 2' transmits at H during the specific time of the initial two pulses of OVDV signals b1 and b2, turns Tr's 4e1 and 4e2on through Tr's 4f1 and 4f2, and applies voltage +E1 to windings 5a, and 5c and, 5b and 5d to start a motor. The OVDV signals b1 and b2 at H are transmitted during the following two pulses. Thereby the coils are prevented from burning by an overcurrent without lowering the torque. |
