<p>PURPOSE:To improve the use function by obtaining extents of longitudinal and transverse movement of a mouse by first and second detecting means and obtaining the extent of rotation by the difference between these extents of movement and the extent of movement obtained by a third detection means. CONSTITUTION:A first detection point 21, first and second detecting means 23 and 24 which detect extents of movement at least in two directions on a plane at the time of movement of the first detection point 21, a second detection point 22 separated from the first detection point 21, and a third detecting means 25 which detects the extent of movement at least in one direction on the plane at the time of movement of the second detection point 22 are provided. Extents of longitudinal and transverse movement and the extent of rotation of a mouse 20 are inputted by three extents of movement obtained by three detecting means 23 to 25. Thus, extents of longitudinal and transverse movement of the mouse 20 are obtained by first and second detecting means 23 and 24, and the difference between these extents of movement and the extent of movement obtained by the third detecting means 25 is operated to obtain the extent of rotation, namely, the extent of inclination of the mouse.</p> |
