<p>PURPOSE:To prevent no-load running of a driving part of a back side cassette by stopping driving the back side cassette in moving a detecting member correspondingly when a cassette is not housed in a back side cassette holding part. CONSTITUTION:The back side cassette holding part is movably provided with the detecting member 4 for detecting whether a cassette 2 is housed in the back side cassette holding part. When the cassette 2 is not housed in the back side cassette holding part, at the time of changing a recording or reproducing mode of a front side cassette 1 over to a recording or reproducing mode of the back side cassette 2, the operation mode of the side of the back side cassette tape should be changed for a stop mode in interlocking with the above changeover by moving the detecting member 4. Consequently, in the case of continuous reproducing performed from the front side cassette 1, the stopping state is effective if the back side cassette 2 is shifted to be reproduced. By this method, the no-load running of the driving part of the back side cassette 2 is infeasible.</p> |
