<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a lubricating function from deteriorating by applying lubricant to a coil spring wound around an outer periphery of a transmission and a pressure welded part of the transmission and providing a means for holding the lubricant and shielding it from outside air. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid 19 is OFF, an engaging claw 21 is separate from a stopper 16a and a coil spring 10 press-welds transmissions 8, 9 to have a rotation of an input gear 3 transmitted to an output ring 4. when the solenoid 19 is turned ON, an end 13 of the coil spring 10 is pressed toward a direction D and press-welding toward the transmission 8 is released so that the input gear 3 runs idle to have the rotation force not transmitted. In a spring clutch 1 thus constituted, lubricant is applied to a press-welded part beta between the transmissions 8, 9 and the coil spring 10 while a lubricant holding means 18 composed of a freely stretchable rubber tube or the like is mounted to the outer periphery of the coil spring 10. The lubricant may not be pushed out from a slit on a spiral part due to the holding means 18 as well as shut from the outside air to be prevented from being dry.</p> |
