PURPOSE:To prevent high-melting powder from aggregating, cracking, thermally shrinking, etc., in calcining by kneading the high-melting powder with carbon powder or carbon fiber, cellulosic component and a resin after carrying out thermosetting reaction and forming the resultant kneaded mixture into the shape of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:With 25-80wt.% high-melting powder (e.g. Al2O3), are kneaded 3-40wt.% carbon powder or carbon fiber having 15mum to 2mm fiber diameter and <=3mm length, 1-15wt.% total amount of <=10wt.% cellulosic component (e.g. methyl cellulose) and a resin (e.g. a phenolic resin) after carrying out thermosetting reaction and 10-50wt.% binder (e.g. PVA). The resultant kneaded mixture is then formed into the shape of a sheet. |
