<p>An apparatus for salting butter in a continuous butter production process comprises separate proportionating devices for salt and water operated independently of one another, and pipes leading the salt and water into the accelerating chamber of a kneading device and terminating on the same level. The salt and water feed pipes may be arranged in direct juxta-position or concentrically relative to one another. The apparatus may also include a salt grinder which may be heated.</p> |
