PURPOSE:To detect a current flowing due to an insulation trouble of a coil for a linear motor by shielding a coil body with a laminated tape formed by integrating a metal tape or metal wire with insulator. CONSTITUTION:In order to externally metal-shield a coil body 1 for a linear motor, a metal tape or a metal wire is wound, and it is necessary to eliminate the flow of an induced current by a strong magnetic field from a body of a linear motor car. Thus, as shown, a laminated tape in which a metal tape 4 is adhered to an insulator 5 is wound on the body 1 so that the tapes 4 may not be brought into contact with each other. Thus, a current at the time of insulator breakdown flows to a metal shield and hence to a ground circuit. If a through type rectifier is inserted to the ground wire of the ground circuit, this current can be detected. Thus, a metal shielding structure indispensable for detecting deterioration can inexpensively and easily be formed in the coil for the motor. |
