PURPOSE:To control trains safely by comparing the actual train speed with a lower one of the limit speed in train stop section or the limit speed to be determined based on the interval between trains and performing speed control of train based on the comparison results. CONSTITUTION:An operation processing means 8 operates the distance upto a train stop position based on information fed from a train location information input means 6 and a speed signal obtained based on a signal fed from an axle rotation detecting signal input means 4 and information fed from a wheel diameter information input means 5, and further operates the distance upto the stop position based on information fed from a train interval detecting signal input means 7. When one of the distances is shorter than a specific distance, a brake output means 2 produces a brake command for decelerating the train speed to a predetermined limit speed accordingly to the operated distance. By such arrangement, train can be stopped safely in a stop section without causing collision against a preceding train. |
