<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stable matrix free from influence of the water at the time of paper making process from alumina powder into a sheet by burning off the pulp after this process to turn into sheet, forming a porous body of alumina, and by impregnating it with molten salt containing lithium. CONSTITUTION:Wood pulp is thoroughly dispersed in water, and thereto alumina powder is added followed by agitation to produce an aqueous slurry, which is turned into sheet through paper making process by a paper-making machine. After pressure application to remove surplus water, and the wood pulp is burnt off. The obtained porous body of alumina is impregnated with molten salt containing lithium, and in this course, lithium, aluminate is synthesized. This achieves stable matrix free from influence of hydration at the time of paper making.</p> |
