Pharmaceutical active compounds which contain peptide linkages and are therefore sensitive are protected from degradation, during passage through the stomach and intestines, by micronization. This improves the absorption and bioavailability. In the micronization the active compounds are extremely finely divided, and each particle is provided with a colloid protective envelope.
