The device for central electro-analgesia comprises rythmical action units 5, 6 mounted in series with current pulse shape changers 7, 8 and preamplifiers 11, 12 connected to a current pulse amplitude regulator 15, to a means 19 for determining modes of action, to a programmed mean current limiter 29 and to an output signal amplifier 17 connected through a means 44 for measuring the mean current to electrodes 47, 48 fixed in the cervical region, beneath the mastoid process, and in the region of the patient's forehead.
