<p>A mixer for video signals provides a mixed picture of single picture quality without wipe or inset framing visible. The mixer has three inputs (A,B,C) to a-d converters (27,28,29) which can be used for camera (20,21,26) inputs. The first two (20,21) are used for the pictures to be mixed and the third (26) for the control coordinate picture providing the masking information to the processor (33). Each picture input (20,21) feeds through the a-d converter (27,28) to picture memories (30,31). The third input (26) also has an a-d converter (29) and a control desk (33) on the picture mix required. Size and orientation of picture mix components can be obtained.</p> |
