PURPOSE:To shorten time required for radio connection by transmitting information on the reception levels of respective base stations to a control station when the reception level more than a prescribed level is not detected in any base station and selecting the base station whose reception level is the largest. CONSTITUTION:When a call request signal is transmitted from portable stations 11-1m in a state where the control station 3, the base stations 21-2n and the portable stations 11-1m are in a waiting state, respective base stations 21-2n receiving the call request signal judge the reception levels. The base stations whose reception levels are not more than an FS level which shows that the radio transmission line of high quality can be supplied transmit information of the reception levels to the control station 3. It judges the sizes of the reception levels of all the base stations 21-2n and transmits information of the base station whose reception level is the largest as a base station designation signal. Since only one base station which is radio-connected with the portable stations is selected irrespective of the presence or absence of the base station where the reception level more than the FS level can be detected, the collision of control signals owing to the interference of a radio wave does not come to occur. |
