<p>PURPOSE:To enable efficient and economical operation and utilize for distinct image forming according to the condition of used plate by executing control of motors in respective processes according to respective processes, as for start, stop, and speed change, based on the sequence of image forming process. CONSTITUTION:In a plate supply process as a preceding process against an image data exposure process, a first step transport roller group only is driven at high speed with a first motor 24, and from the time point when a plate 2 enters an electrophotography process, the speed of the first motor 24 is slowed down to a prescribed speed required for the process. Next, for a while after when the extreme end of the moving plate enters a development part through a second transport roller group, a second motor 27 rotates a squeezing roller 18 at high speed to wash the squeezing roller by sprinkling developing solution over it. A little early before entering of the extreme end of the plate into the squeezing roller on the outlet of the development part, the rotating speed of the squeezing roller is slowed down up to process speed, and the first and the second step transport rollers are made to be same speed.</p> |
