The present invention relates to a device for locking and unlocking a vehicle door. This device essentially comprises a button (1) housed in the door of a vehicle and including an outer part (6) whose contour, defined by an opening (7) and flush with the wall (5) comprising this opening, is circular and provided with a hollow relief (8) situated, in the locking and unlocking position, respectively on one or other side of the mid position corresponding substantially to the middle of the opening (7).
