PURPOSE:To shorten a program preparing time and to protect a needle from damage due to a command indication error by incorporating the first function selectively indicating a preliminarily prepared operating sequence and the second function arbitrarily indicating the operating sequence each time in an automatic sampling apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A function selecting key 11 selects either one of the first and second functions. The first function repeatedly executes the operation order related to a plurality of frequently used specific containers on the basis of the non-programmable program selected according to the transfer condition set to a transfer condition table 50 to realize automatic sampling operation. The second function executes said operation order on the basis of the programmable program prepared by arbitrarily combining a command indicating the movement of the mechanism of an analyser, a command controlling an analysis start signal, a command controlling an analysis waiting time and a command executing predetermined sampling operation with respect to an arbitrary container from a table 7a to realize automatic sampling operation.
