PURPOSE:To perform the choice of an item with an easy operation by designating the character frame string of a table in a longitudinal and/or lateral direction arbitrarily, deleting a character frame in an area formed with a designated character string and a character in the character frame, and selecting a desired character string in the table. CONSTITUTION:A user can easily and surely generate a new table by using a marker upper part and a frame at the left side shown in figure and instructing required parts in the lateral and longitudinal directions by using a position designation means in a display device such as a mouse or a keyboard, etc. In other words, the required part in the lateral direction(column content) is instructed first with the position designation means such as the mouse, etc., and similarly, the one in the longitudinal direction(row content) is instructed. After the required part being designated, editing is instructed to a controller. Thereby, the new table desired to obtain can be generated. |
